employing a roadie to transport me and my
equipment to the gig as I was too young to drive and built a reputation of good
entertainment.
My Music, I love Jazz, smooth rock, R&B, Soul and
Motown, but I like the listener to tell me what they want to hear to, I get a
great buzz from all the talented artists we have in this world. I’m incredibly
excited to be presenting on Radio Seagull and I hope you enjoy me and my music.
I Began Radio in 1986, in Henley- on- Thames
with Media Air Studios, where I gained my first experience of sitting in a
studio and being taught how to be a presenter, I had a fantastic tutor and my
radio career began with me making Commercials and Voice overs during my
training.
Progressed with full time career, which dictated
my time and commitments on new home and family etc. With the love of Radio in
my blood I progressed to find a part time position in local radio near home town.
In 1995, I joined MIX 96 as an outside broadcast
man, with many roles including, standing in on live breakfast show news and
weather broadcasts. Title roles included Sponsored features with a local
business crowd every week, for a LIVE broadcast link via studio.
Other included MIX 96 Roadshows
, with more than 190 other live broadcasts and more than 50 recorded
interviews and features.
In year 2000, I moved to 1170AM and presented
live shows and more outside broadcasts, including Celebrity interviews. I was
the anchor man for the big switch on of Christmas lights with” Colin Baker”(
Dr. Who), and I entertained an audience
in excess of 6000 people.
Made a television programme for Channel 4 in May
2005, A one hour long programme all about a grade II
listed building which I was renovating.
My business renovating old
buildings, took up most of my time in recent years, but now have been
able to step back and rely on my own team.
Most recent Brill Oldies on 87.9FM August 2011
In this broadcast period I was on air for 28 Hours over 17 days. |
